CHRISTMAS....was over a month ago and i'm going to post about it now...

So Christmas was fun.... we started out by going to our lovely/crazy friends house for a few days to go see the lights at temple square. (Something Trenton has promised to do every single year until we die) It was loads of fun to be with our friends and hang out. We went to temple square and had dinner and then went home and played games until 2 in the morning like we were little kids. The next night we went to dinner with some of their friends and a UVU game where they have a green drumline. You know the blue man group? I think they are trying to start a green man group and it creeped me out a little....

The Creepy Green Men...

Temple Square..... It was freezing but always a good time! P.S. don't buy the hot chocolate on the corner....no flavor! Sooo disappointing.
 Our Cute friends :)

After our Utah excursion we spent a few days at Trenton's house and took his niece and nephews to see the lights at Rock Creek.

These kids are the ultimate Boise State Fans!

Then Kenzie and Trevor came home and it was basically Christmas! I convinced my dad that we needed to open our family gift on Christmas Eve because I couldn't wait any longer! Playing the kinect was a blast and hilarious! A few days after Christmas Trent and I went to Idaho Falls for his basketball tournament. It was fun to watch him play and we got to take his nephews with us the second day of his tournament. They got 3rd place overall and they competed against some really good teams!

Before we knew it our break was over and we were back home in Rexburg. It felt good to be home! School is pretty crazy for us this semester. Trent has online classes and night classes and he works part time. I go to school all day from 8-6 and work part time too! So we live for the weekends!

We hit our 6 month anniversary a few days ago and I saw this on facebook and couldn't help but share. It's way too cute!

This is totally us except for the cat...

a little more of then...

I'm back to finish up the then so I can start posting about the now! I left off at the craziness of three weddings within 1 month.....and that's exactly what it was...

Craziness!

But it was the best at the same time! First up was Cris and Jason. They had the most gorgeous wedding and reception. I was lucky enough to be able to attend their wedding and of course I cried watching my best friend's dreams coming true! Good thing I had Trenton next to me or I would have been a bigger mess than I already was. Here she is gorgeous as ever...

What a babe right? Not sure why I chose to have gorgeous people as my best friends because it's a real bummer when I look in the mirror next to them! Anywho, their reception was lovely as expected and it was so fun to see them together for good finally!

Next up! My sister....My sister has been through A LOT when it comes to relationships. A lot of YUCK. So when she went on her mission the Lord blessed her with a wonderful husband from the same mission! No worries, he went home a few months after she got there and he wrote her for a whole year. When she got home he came and surprised her and they were in love from that point on. So if anyone deserved to be happily married it was my sister...and that's exactly what she got! Her wedding and reception was beautiful as well. I have a

drop dead gorgeous

Sister!!!!

Just take a look and you will agree....

There they are in all their glory....

So with my sister getting married on July 14 there was only one week left until I got to marry the man of my dreams! I was almost all weddinged out before mine happened but i had just enough gusto left to get through! It was all a bit crazy but I guess that's how I like things because that's how they always seem to be!

We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on July 22, 2011.......

and so were

24 other brides...

before noon.

Good thing they know what they are doing in the Temple because I didn't even feel like it was crazy inside the temple. It was outside that was nuts! Thankfully it was a gorgeous sunny day and I got to be sealed to my best friend of all time. WAITING WAS SO WORTH IT! People called me crazy and told me it wouldn't work but I had a few faithful friends who supported me and helped me through the two years. When i say a few i mean a ton! Trent and I have huge binders full of letters to each other that will always be priceless to us.
Pictures outside the temple were a little crazy but they were fun!

and this is how we ended our wonderful day at the temple...

We set out to our luncheon and the food was great, the company even better! After the luncheon we decided to stay in Salt Lake for the night before going to Rupert for our reception the next day. Trenton took me to the gorgous Grand America hotel and we got to our room and our key wouldn't work. We double checked the room number and the key and then called downstairs to get them to come open it. A nice bellman came and opened the door for us and we walked in and I saw some champaigne and chocolate covered strawberries on the coffee table with a note that said...

Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Mchabenflabber

or something like that. All I know is that it donned on me that we were in the WRONG room and it would have be REAL awkward if Mr. and Mrs. whoever had been in the room. THANK goodness they weren't!
Our reception the next day was great! SO many people helped make it great. Love all of those who hardly knew me and were so willing to help! We drove back to Salt Lake that night to fly out the next morning to Puerto Vallerta, Mexico! We had the best time relaxing on the beach, going snorkeling, boogie boarding, eating and watching sweet fire shows!

The view from our hotel room! We always had crazy storms come around 7 at night and it was awesome to watch the lighting over the ocean!

We also went on a sailing trip with a few people and I thought i'd make things interesting by loosing my cookies overboard after the first 10 minutes! Ya not fun! Dremmamine or whatever the sea sickness pill saved my life on the way back. I overdosed a little and slept the whole 2 hour ride back! We are both very nervous to ever go on a cruise now!

We came back from our honeymoon to live at our parent's houses for 5 weeks before moving to college. FUN! :) We spent our time building a headboard and making other crafts, watching the entire Harry Potter series, and working!
This has been an incredibly long post so i'm ending it and promising that the rest will not be this long!
